Help kids and teens with developmental disabilities have fun.  Volunteer with KEEN Greater DC.

KEEN is looking for:

• Caring and energetic volunteers to enjoy recreational, noncompetitive and non-structured sports activities with young people with disabilities.
• Help KEEN athletes get exercise, have fun, work on social skills and make friends.
• Volunteer at KEEN Sports on weekends in DC, MD, or VA.
• No experience or long-term commitment is required – come once or as often as you like!

At KEEN programs, volunteers spend quality time with children and young adults with significant disabilities, getting them active and helping them to have fun. The volunteers’ role is to help the KEEN athletes be active and encourage them to try their best. KEEN offers an open, non-competitive environment where every child can be a winner.

• All KEEN programs are free of charge to the families and take place in DC, MD and Northern VA.
